Everyone who rides can experience a loss of confidence or a loss of self belief at times as I had after my last horse. It can be so frustrating and takes the fun out of things. However not when you have team Avonmill to help you out! Always there to listen, give help at shows and even some extra help away from shows. Joanne and Jane really do want to see their clients do well. I'm writing this from another fun day out with my horse and feeling chuffed to bits!

Sapphire clear XC at her first ever BE event.   She is a star, she was 3rd at the riding club area event qualifiers at the weekend as well!

Just thought I would send you a wee update about Guy. He has been absolutely great. I can't believe how luck I am to have such a super big horse. We have been out at a few local shows and been in the rosettes every time out. He's a superstar!! We have been having some lessons and joined the local riding club so hopefully next year (when I'm not so rusty) we will start some BE events.

It's been a slower journey for myself and Miller (former Yogi) after an accident on another horse and a change of discipline for us both as no more SJ or eventing for me we have both been introduced to the world of showing and so far proving very successful and both having great fun developing his schooling.  Miller is the perfect addition to our family as even my 6y.o rides him in the arena.  We still get to have a little play around the training XC now and again.

Thank you so much for finding him for us. Would highly recommend Avonmill to anyone.

I bought Tayto from Avonmill a year ago and wrote a glowing review at that time. Unfortunately, a year and a baby later I didn't have the time to do him justice and decided it was in his best interests to find him a new home. As we live in the north of Scotland with limited buyers, and I was tied up with a new baby, I decided to send him back to Avonmill to take the hassle out of selling. I can honestly say that they exceeded my expectations at every step. Joanne was constantly in touch and kept me up to date with his progress, loads of pictures etc and really went above and beyond. Unfortunately and through no fault of Avonmill, Tayto needed veterinary treatment whilst there and the whole team, including Joanne 's husband dropped everything to put the horse first. On top of all the of this they found him a new home promptly. Nothing was too much trouble and it was very refreshing to find people in the horse industry who have a genuinely customer focused attitude. I cannot rate highly enough.

Hey just a little update of Aoife, she had a couple of months off over the winter but before this had been going for lessons and teaching me how to jump! I'm now pregnant with only 13 weeks to go so my friend has been keeping her going for me & last night she did her 1st common riding which absolutely delighted me as she never put a foot wrong. Went through every river crossing asked and generally went with the flow. Hoping to have her at some more over the summer & a couple of showjumping comps which Sunday may be her first. I can't wait to get back in the saddle & doing these things myself again. Spoilt little horse in the yard but loves attention so much. Settled in just fine!

Just a wee update. Tayto is lovely!   Eva has started jumping him and he loves it. He was a bit lively on his first couple of canter hacks, threw a little excited buck, but really great. I'm really loving him and he loves all the fuss. Gets on well with diesel and we hack out great together. Settling well, the farrier shod him again last week and remembered him from Avonmill. All good, can't thank you and Jane enough. I’ll email his previous owner too, to keep her up-to-date. I’l let you know when we take him out to compete xx

Thank you so much for finding Harry such a lovely new home. He was a real member of our family (I will miss the cuddles, my daughter's horse is not so keen on them!) and it was so important to us that he find the right home which you and your team have done in an incredibly short time! He arrived with you on Sunday 28 August was tried on Saturday 3rd September, passed his vetting yesterday and is now sold! All the time you have been so supportive and kind, I can't say thank you enough.
