I have had the pleasure of both buying and selling with Avonmill. I bought Ripley from Avonmill a number of years ago and it was a pleasure to do business with them. We had lots of fun together over the years and when a new human arrival, my daughter, came and it was time to find Ripley a new home I knew that the only place to send her was back to Avonmill. Joanne and Jane were fab, getting her fit again and always keeping me updated with photos, which made the experience so much less stressful for me. They did a brilliant job and found her a lovely new home where she will have many new adventures over the years to come. I can’t recommend Avonmill highly enough for either buying or selling as they provide a 5 star service for both! Had a fabulous 3 hour hack up into the hills at Dolphinton. Kara, bought through Avonmill, is such a pleasure to ride. We managed to open a couple of gates but if I had to get off she stood like a rock while I clambered on from the gate. My trust in her and our bond gets stronger every day. I love every moment I spend with her. 😊😊

I got in touch with Joanne 5 years ago when I was looking for a new horse after 12 years out ofthe saddle. The whole process was very welcoming and professional. Joanne talked me through all my needs and and wants and was very patient throughout the buying period and knew before I did what I needed and was looking for in a horse. I bought Miller and had 5 years of fun and success with him. When the sad time came that I had to sell Miller due to my commitments with my daughter's ponies, without hesitation I contacted Joanne to help me with the process of selling him. I bought Connie the Connemara x Irish sports horse from Joanne in August 2018. I am so pleased with Connie she is an absolute gem. I have just got back into horses after 8-9 years out and I was very apprehensive in the purchasing process with being away from it from so long. Joanne was fab from the minute I contacted her. She was open to vetting and strangles test which shows her professionalism in running a yard. When I picked Connie up she loaded perfect and Joanne gave me all current feed information and her daily routine which was great. I hope to have years of fun with Connie as she is a great all rounder and exactly what I was looking for.
