There are very few people I am confident enough to buy a horse unseen from and although I wouldn't recommend it as a rule I felt very happy to do so from Joanne and Jane. When I saw Ellie online I rather fell in love and after a long chat with Joanne bought her unseen (Cornwall is a long way away). Ellie arrived and was exactly as described in nature, temperament and ability. Ellie has been a pleasure to work with and soaked up the learning with my trainers all in love with her. In her first BE event she was 4th in a BE80 with a super double clear. She is also successfully competing BS jumping and will do BD. I highly recommend Joanne and her team.

I have been a keen follower of Avonmill Equestrian for a number of years now and Joanne has given me such good advice over the years at no gain to herself. I hit a wall looking for a suitable top class all round competition pony for my daughter here in Ireland but when Avonmill Equestrian offered to help on my behalf we became inundated with potential matches. One stood out from the start and we are delighted to welcome him to be my 9yr olds next superstar who can take her to the next level. I cannot thank Avonmill enough for helping us find such a good pony. It's not an easy task finding a safe competition pony but Joanne was always at the other end of the phone to offer advice and support.

"I cannot thank Joanne and Jane enough over the past 3 months. They have had my 4yo homebred gelding Scooby whilst I have been busy with work and they have continued his education. I did not want to send my horse to a yard on schooling livery however after visiting Avonmill I immediately felt reassured that they would take great care of him and they have brought him on so much in this time. I receive regular up dates on his progress and their open door policy is fabulous. I would highly recommend Joanne and Jane at Avonmill and in the future I would not even consider sending my horse anywhere other than Avonmill. They treat Scooby with the same care and attention that they give their own horses and I like how I have been able to go up to ride him myself when convenient to me. They have also taken Scooby out to training nights to get him used to different venues. Although I'm looking forward to getting Scooby back in 2 weeks time I'm sure he would be just as happy staying where he is!!
