Hi Joanne This a wee message to up date you on the Connemara pony Beaghmore Ben. Alisha and Ben did their first xc at Gleneagles today and won 2ft6 class. He is one very smart pony. One very happy mother and daughter.

Thanks again

I just wanted to thank you and Jane for your time and patience with Rusty. He has come on so much demonstrating his true potential. He is balanced and relaxed on the flat and Jane has nurtured a super jump out of him. You kept me so up to date that I looked forward to checking my emails daily to hear his progress and see the photos/videos.

Although he was with you to bring on and sell, in the end I couldn't bear to lose out on what you have shown me is going to be a super horse so have taken him back under my wing for my post baby comeback!

Thanks again for your help, patience and skill in bringing him on so well.

Hi Joanne   Always meant to text you and say thank you so much for finding Conner for me.   He really is a fantastic boy.   We have done some dressage and hunter classes and he is so willing and good natured,   So, three and a half years later thank you.

I want to thank Jo and Jane for finding Star my homebred gelding the perfect home and owner.    Avonmill Equestrian are super to work with.   I will be sending his brother there to be brought on and hopefully they will find him the perfect home and owner as well.

Hi Jo   Sienna has made us all smile today at Ascot Under Wychwood.  She was a star—32.5 dressage and a double clear with the most amazing round xc to finish 9th in a hot section.   So thrilled, we all adore her so much and she is definitely my friend for life!  She is a very special find by you, so talented and yet mum can hack her out!   Will keep you updated.

Hi to all at Avonmill. Just wanted to let you know that Boo and I have qualified for the Kilmannan novice ridden m and m at Blair.  Given we were only doing our second ridden showing class and that I hadn't even realised it was a qualifier till the day before the show, I am delighted. Lots of work to do but we will definitely go to Blair as I think it will be a super experience for us both.

Ollie won the North East BD Prelim Championship in a class of 24 on 74.55% on Saturday.   On Sunday was 2nd in a section at Burgie HT at our second BE event together, improving on 5th place at our first event.   I haven’t stopped smiling yet!

The 4 year old 14.2hh Class One Connemara Rihanna bought from Avonmill with her new 9yo owner behaved amazingly in a big open field.  She is a brilliant pony.   Thanks again!

I couldn’t be happier with Roshan!   She is schooling easily over 1.20cms at home and is now BS registered, competing at British Novice and ready to go on.   I can’t thank you and Jane enough for finding me the perfect horse!   Thanks again.

I think my face says it all in this picture! This time last year Avonmill horse, Clover, and I entered the BE90 at Eglinton and this year it was to be our first BE Novice run - what a year it's been! She was clear around a technical Novice XC, had an excellent 37 dressage and we finished in 11th place. The aim is now CIC* at Hopetoun next year, with Blair the following year, not a position I ever imagined we would be in, I swore I would never do BE100! Clover's talent, maturity and kindness have taken us both way beyond anyone's expectations and I can't thank her enough for that. Truly a horse of a lifetime!

Update—Clover DC BE Novice!

Hi Joanne   I wanted to send a wee update on Foxy, my young horse I sent to you to be schooled, since I’ve had him back, I can’t believe the difference in Foxy as you know I was at my wits end with a horse who didn't have the confidence to go forward and was spooking and spinning with me. My confidence was shot to pieces and I was considering selling him on because I just didn't know what to do next. After spending 6 weeks with you guys I now have a horse that strides out front on a hack  he still has a look at things but no longer spins or misbehaves and is a joy to ride, last night was major achievement when I took him into a large open hay field and set off into canter, it was brilliant , never thought I’d see the day! I think as a rider of 30 years we forget that youngsters are an art and sometimes its just best to send them to people who deal with them every day, can’t thank you and Jane enough  great job and many thanks!

Just a quick note to thank Joanne and the Avonmill team for sourcing my lovely boy Colin (formerly Rocky!). He's settled in really well and gets on brilliantly with Connie (Colin's Avonmill graduate sister!) and Damsel (also sourced through Avonmill's network!)

I thought when Joanne sourced the perfect horse for my sister a few months back that it couldn't happen twice. I relayed my (long!) wish list of equine attributes to be rolled into one horse and let Jo work her magic... I honestly didn't expect such a great match, he has so quickly given me confidence, feels like he's been here for years! We've had one lesson and we're now working away on our flatwork and having fun in the fields. I can't wait to get him out and about competing.

Thank you so much again for sourcing all three of our lovely horses, they're all such characters and are definitely in their forever homes!  We'll keep you up to date on our adventures!
